Thank you Mr. Latteri and Ray :)  In order to resolve the netcdf conflict this 
worked for me as well :)

 

sudo yum install 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/repos/yum/awips2_15.1.3/x86_64/netcdf-4.1.2-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

sudo yum install 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/repos/yum/awips2_15.1.3/x86_64/netcdf-AWIPS-3.6.0p1-2.OB9211.i686.rpm

sudo yum install 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/repos/yum/awips2_15.1.3/x86_64/netcdf-devel-4.1.2-1.el6.rf.x86_64.rpm

 

and then ./installEDEX.sh
