Howdy All,
I am sure everybody is curious, like I am, about what is happening with the
Uzbekistan METARs relayed over NOAAPort. They recently announced that all of
their ICAO identifiers were changing from UT?? to UZ??. Over the past week,
both identifiers are being used within various NOAAPort products, like so:
SAUZ31 UTTW 211900
...snipped...
METAR UTFF 211900Z 22008KT 0600 FZFG NSC M00/M01 Q1008 R18/CLRD70=
and
SAUZ31 UZTW 211900
...snipped...
METAR UZFF 211900Z 22008KT 0600 FZFG NSC M00/M01 Q1008 R18/CLRD70=
Does anybody know when the duplication will stop?
