[idvdevelopers] IDV now fully on Java 8

IDV Developers List,

The IDV distribution has been running on a Java 8 JVM for some time
now. After some complications with the build, the IDV now runs with
Java 8 language features and code. Note the Java language has evolved
quite a bit of late with Java 8 with lambda expressions, etc. It is
possible that you may have to update your development environment to
continue IDV development.
