Problems reading Stereographic data in CF convention

We are using Polar Stereograhpic data in CF convention. IDV 2.0 still 
has a problem reading this data (see 
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/help/MailArchives/idvlist/msg00131.html).

I hope you can fix this soon. I like IDV, but converting all data from 
CF -> GDV is cumbersome.
