[idvusers] local sounding/upsonde/dropsonde file format

Hello.

I have sounding data from a field project that I would like to plot with 
IDV.   Is this possible?

I've imported text files as point data before, but how do I format them 
so that IDV imports them as soundings?  Is there an example somewhere of 
the format I need?
