RPC Error message on Startup

Does anyone recognize the following message:May 24 19:09:51 ldm10 rpc.ldmd[4281]: local_portmapper_running():clnttcp_create() failure: : RPC: Remote system error - Connection refused

I get this when LDM is first started, but LDM seems to start fine andruns smoothly. This server is running Red Hat 9.
