How about having your pqact include a
        PIPE    echo-script.sh \2 \3
where echo-script.sh simply takes two arguments and prints them to a tmp 
file. For example

echo "filename and path will be /nasnrl1/data/radar/nexradII/raw/ $1 $2" 
> /tmp/note2me.log
