Hello,
I'm looking for an LDM/IDD upstream provider for a weather data project
operated by Interweather.
We are building a dedicated radar data server that needs near-real-time NEXRAD
Level III data. The immediate goal is to test Super-Resolution Base
Reflectivity and Base Velocity products from a single WSR-88D site, KGWX
(Columbus AFB, Mississippi).
Once testing is complete, the system will eventually cover approximately 71
selected WSR-88D sites, but we are only interested in a limited set of Level
III radar products rather than the complete NEXRAD product suite or the full
IDD data stream.
Our initial requirement is:
Feed: NEXRAD Level III / NEXRAD3
Initial radar: KGWX / GWX
Super-Resolution Base Reflectivity
Super-Resolution Base Velocity
Near-real-time delivery
We currently expect these to correspond to the modern Super-Resolution Level
III reflectivity/velocity products (including N0B/N0G or the equivalent product
identifiers present in the current IDD stream). One purpose of the initial feed
is to verify the exact current product identifiers.
The receiving system is a dedicated Linux server, and we can install/configure
the current Unidata LDM release and provide the required public hostname/IP
information to an upstream provider.
If anyone is willing to provide an upstream for this limited NEXRAD3 feed,
please let me know what information or configuration you need from our side.
Thank you,
Craig
