Hello everyone,
Since Thursday, June 25 at 18Z, when NESDIS stopped sending out imagery from
their ground station, and switched the input files from the cloud instead, the
scripts that make our imagery on weather.cod.edu hang with zombie processes and
quickly crash our server. I'm trying to figure out if McIDAS, or our scripts,
are the culprit. Here are the error messages I see when I try to make GOES-WEST
imagery through a python script:
File "src/netCDF4/_netCDF4.pyx", line 5889, in netCDF4._netCDF4.Variable._put
IndexError: size of data array does not conform to slice
Is anyone else seeing any errors or issues? We put all of the pieces of the
image together, and then when it reaches the last piece, we start to make the
imagery.
This is not happening on GOES-EAST imagery, which NESDIS has not yet switched
over to the cloud-based images for uplink on NOAAport/SBN.
