What are the issues involved vis-a-vis, say, cygwin?
The current netCDF snapshots (and, I presume, version 4.0.1) build fine on Cygwin with DAP enabled. The resulting libraries cannot be used with non-Cygwin Windows applications.
Exactly, I'm looking for a dll that will work with non-cygwin applications (specifically the netCDF4 python bindings).
Has anyone tried minGW? It can usually build DLLs compatible with regular Windows apps.
