NetCDF on LinuxPPC

Hi

Has anyone had any experience compiling NetCDF for Linux on a Motorola/PPC 
platform? Using standard Linux parameters in the makefile I only get 
Endian-related errors. Would Irix parameters work or would they have to be 
hybrid 32-bit and Big endian?
