*User Actions: *None.

*Details/Specifics of Change: *The COPC DATMS-U network provides an 
operational path between NWS/NESDIS and AFWA/FNMOC/NAVO. This network is 
a DISA managed DoD network and NWS/NESDIS network access is via the NWS* 
*Telecommunication Operations Center (TOC) network. The DATMS-U 
component of the network will be upgraded from an Asynchronous Transfer 
Mode (ATM) backbone to DoD’s Optical Transport Network (OTN) and will 
provide a bandwidth increase to the COPC Organizations. A backup date of 
03/03/2010 17-19z has been coordinated in case of Critical Weather Day 
(CWD) or problems necessitating a back-out during the 02/03/2010 network 
upgrade.
