Products and Level II Data from Vance AFB, OK
Reference: Technical Implementation Notices (TIN) 10-22 and
10-23 (Corrected) dated November 2, 2010 and
TIN 10-22 Amended dated February 11, 2011
The earlier announced WSR-88D (Weather Surveillance Radar-1988,
Doppler) Field Test of the Dual Polarization modification at
Vance AFB, OK (KVNS) has begun. The KVNX Level II data,
including the three added dual polarization moments, are on the
Level II Data Collection and Distribution Network. The KVNX dual
polarization products will be distributed beginning March 8.
Until then, only the full suite of legacy products will be
available for KVNX. The referenced TINs are available at:

Further information on the Dual Polarization Beta Test and
deployment schedule will be provided when available, expected by
the end of March 2011.
