Subject: Implementation of Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF)
Service for Frenchville Airport (KFVE) in Northern
ME, Effective May 4, 2012
Note: The following changes have no impact on NOAA Weather
Wire Service Subscribers
Effective Effective Friday, May 4, 2012, at 1800 Coordinated
Universal Time (UTC), the NWS office in Caribou, ME, will begin
TAF service for the Frenchville airport (KFVE) in northern Maine.
Routine and updated TAFs will be issued for this airport 24 hours
per day.
This implementation date reflects a change to the notice below.

NWS personnel will need to add the following identifier to their
Communications systems to receive the new TAF:

In addition, the new TAF will be added to the existing TAF
collectives below, which are transmitted to FAA personnel and
other external users

FTUS90 KWBC FAA Weather Message Switching Center
and FAA Facilities
FTUS52 KWBC Global Telecommunication System Customers
Holders of NWS procedural instruction 10-813, Terminal Aerodrome
Forecasts, should make the addition to the appendices.
