[thredds] Remove attribute with URL-encoding

Hi,
 
Is it possible to remove URL-encoded attributes, namely
"CF%3afeature_type" which appears in a number of datasets?
 
Have tried using NcML options <remove name="CF%3afeature_type"
type="attribute"> and <remove name="CF:feature_type" type="attribute">
but neither have worked.
