In a future release of the netcdf java code to get rid of the variable-length dimension (e..g '*') in CDM and replace it with ArraySequence. I would like to get an idea of how this will affect in our user community. My expectation is that two groups would be affected: 1. Users who write their own IOSPs 2. Users who program directly against the netcdf-java API.
