Axis limits

Hi all,

I have a 2D-Plot with several profiles which cover only a part of the x-axis
and I want to set the axis scale to cover only the range covered by the
corresponding profile so that the axis scales don't overlap like they do in the
attached jpg. Is there a simple way to do this?
