interpolation functions

Hello,

I am using the Gridded3DSet and some sample data to generate 
shapes.  However, I am wondering what kind of interpolation function is 
used to generate the surface (what's going on between the data points).  Is 
there any way that I can choose another method to interpolate between the 
points?  Is it the resample method (i am not very clear on how to use it)?
