[gembud] 30 second DEM

Has anybody tried to use this
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/gempak/examples/image_to_grid/topoimg/
for the 30s DEM (world_topo.30s)??

I have been trying today to see the difference and cannot get GEMPAK to 
create the gini
dgc_grid failed -7

is the error I'm seeing from GD2IMG
