Re: [gembud] Updated sfmetar_sa.tbl?

Hi Robert,

Thanks for raising this issue. The source code commit history on that
sfmetar_sa.tbl file shows no activity.

$ git log sfmetar_sa.tbl

Whereas files like `sfstns.tbl` are being updated, but your example 4MR doesn't
appear in that file but in the inactive.tbl file :( I am generally hesitant to
update these files that NAWIPS updates due to having to sort out changes later.
My website offers a GEMPAK station file with what my metadata is currently
tracking for global METAR sites

https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/sites/networks.php?special=allasos&format=gempak&nohtml

but as I look at that file, I have an encoding that GEMPAK will freak out
about. It also contains invalid location placeholders for all the classified
METAR sites that flow over noaaport, which you may not want either. Oye,
serenity now!

Subject: [gembud] Updated sfmetar_sa.tbl?

Good morning,

I was wondering if someone had a more updated sfmetar_sa.tbl. I noticed in the
latest 7.20 distro that Santa Rosa, New Mexico KSXU is still not in the table
and has an auto station for years, same for 4MR (Melrose Gunnery Range). I have
always added these two manually to sfmetar_sa.tbl. I assume there are a lot of
other new automated stations that aren’t in the sfmetar_sa.tbl.

Thank you,
Robert Mullenax
