We definitely saw an outage here for both GOES East and GOES West at UW-Madison
from like 1620 UTC through just after 17 UTC.
Seems to be up and fine now.

Hi Stonie,
SPC didn't observe any issues with GOES-EAST imagery for the times you
referenced. However, the GOES-WEST imagery CONUS/MESO/FULLDISK stopped around
1621Z and resumed around 1701Z.
The SDM confirms a satellite outage occurred.
The ESPC notices for today don't indicate GOES-WEST will be impacted, only
GOES-EAST. Then again, perhaps I missed an email.
ABI Solar Calibration Scans are scheduled for both GOES satellites on July 6.
See the pasted emails about this below.

FYI - we have noticed a GRB outage on G-East and G-West, and could be a
continuing problem from NESDIS's software update. Last product we received was
around 1638GMT, not quite 30 minutes ago.
If anyone else has a different experience, please let us know.

Email seems to be generating increasing inefficiencies in organizations. I
learned from a manager a Stanford Computer Science professor no longer uses
email for communication, but uses SNAIL mail, telephone calls, and person to
person visits. I'm considering the same.
